At Book Chick City we know there’s nothing better than a good book giveaway. But just to make things nice and clear, before you enter any of our giveaways please be aware that we have a few simple rules. By entering any of our competitions you agree to be bound by these rules.

If you don’t read Book Chick City on a regular basis then it may be a good idea to subscribe to Book Chick City via email. This way you never miss the winner announcement post about how to claim your prize!

• While we will endeavour to always provide the prizes offered, please be aware that prizes are available at our discretion and can be withdrawn or substituted for an alternative at any time.
• Prizes are available in the specified region(s) only.
• One entry per person only please, multiple entries will be disqualified.
• All winners will be drawn at random, the judge’s decision is final. No debate will be entered into.
• The winner(s) will be contacted via email in the first instance and then via an announcement post on Book Chick City. This announcement will include a form the winner(s) must complete to supply their full name and postal address. Failure to respond within SEVEN (7) days of the announcement post will mean that an alternative winner will be selected. Please DO NOT email/contact us with your details by any other means other than those stated above.
• We have three types of giveaways on Book Chick City. Those provided by a publisher, by an author, or those provided personally by the blog owner. Giveaway prizes provided by publishers and authors will be clearly stated.
• If you win a prize offered by a publisher or author, your details will be passed confidentially onto the relevant person. It will then be the publisher/authors responsibility to supply you with the prize. While all prizes are offered in the upmost confidence, Book Chick City has no control as to when these will be sent out and takes no responsibility for their non arrival.
• All name and address details submitted for giveaways will be discarded as soon as the winner has claimed their prize. They will not be passed onto publishers or used for marketing purposes, other than for the reason stated above.
• For prizes offered personally by the owner of Book Chick City, prizes will be posted out to winners within six weeks of the winner’s postal address details being supplied. However, in some circumstances this may be longer (eg illness etc).
• Don’t forget that this is a UK blog, prizes sent to International winners will be sent out via cheapest means possible. Depending on where you live these can take anything from 3-6 months to arrive in extreme cases.
• Book Chick City takes no responsibility for any postal delays or errors that may occur. Unfortunately books lost or mislaid in the post cannot be replaced. Please don’t forget this is a personal blog and non publisher prizes are paid for from personal pockets.
