The UK jacket of The Lost Symbol, by Dan Brown, was released today by Transworld Publishers. For the first time, fans of the phenomenal bestselling author will discover the setting for the actions and key themes from the forthcoming thriller, which is set to be released 15th September, 2009. This book will have a first print run of 6.5 million copies, the largest in the history of Random House worldwide.

This is taken from the publisher’s website, Transworld:

Six years in the writing, The Lost Symbol is Dan Brown’s extraordinary sequel to his internationally bestselling Robert Langdon thrillers, Angel’s & Demons and The Da Vinci Code.

Nothing is ever what it first appears in a Dan Brown novel. Set over a breathtaking 12 hour time span, the book’s narrative takes the reader on an exhilarating journey through a masterful and unexpected landscape as Professor of Symbology, Robert Langdon, is once again called into action.

Expertly researched and written with breakneck pace, The Lost Symbol once again demonstrates why Dan Brown is the bestselling thriller writer.

Hmm – I'm debating if I like the UK or US cover better. They're both fittingly cryptic enough! Regardless, thanks for posting this! I hadn't seen it yet.

Also, great post on Maw Books!
