I have never been to a book signing before, but when I found out that horror writer Conrad Williams, who I have just interviewed, was going to be signing his latest book, One, in a Waterstone’s book shop near me, I had to go.
Conrad was very nice. While he signed both my books (The Unblemished & One), we talked a little about my blog and he gave me a present for doing a “great interview”, which of course made me extremely happy. He also said that my blog was “very professional” too – *Blush* – His gift was London Revenant, a book he wrote a few years ago, which he also signed.
He chatted to my husband about his journey down from Manchester, which was a long one – he had to get the 6:30am train for a one hour signing. It was lovely to meet him and I am really looking forward to his upcoming novel, Decay Inevitable, which is out later this year.
