I've read all of Rice's vampire series, and I really thought they lost steam somewhere in the middle. I will be very curious to see what you think of this new one. Maybe she's been reinvigorated after writing about Jesus?

Haha! Does Cat actually have a last name? I don't think I ever realized that and I have read all 4 books. I had to look at the photo to make sure you were writing about the books I thought you were! Hee! I hope you like them – I have had a down and up and up and down relationship with the books.

Wow, aren't you lucky, getting so many great books to review! Now if one could only find the time to read them all …

Hi All,

I'm hoping the writing is still good after her new found religion and moving away from writing about vampires. I really LOVED the Vampire Chronicles so it will be interesting to see how she tackles this new series, but I will definitely let you know!

As I bought the Jeanine Frost books myself I'm not sure I will be putting up reviews but we will see :) I'm really looking forward to reading them!

Although I have quite a few books to review I will make sure I read and review them them all, it just may take a while :)

Thanks everyone for stopping by!!

Wow you got a lot of goodies. Sadly my mailbox doesn't do the same but at least I have the library for my book fix. I had no idea she was doing vampire books again. Anne Rice can be blamed for my love of vampires since they were the first.

Anne Rice's Angel Time isn't about vampires, by the sound of the back cover it's about a soulless man who kills but is given the chance by a seraph to save lives instead. It sounds interesting but it's not vampires. I hope I like it as I really like all her other books, although I didn't read any of her religious ones.

Wow, great list of books this week. I've read all the Rice Vampire novels, but near the end of the series, I was getting disappointed. I was particularly disappointed with her rendition of Marius' story.

Happy reading.
