It’s Monday! What are you reading this week? is a weekly event hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog, to discuss what we are reading for this week as well as books completed the previous week.

Last week was a pretty good week. I really enjoyed reading the Richelle Mead books. I hope to read more this week though as I need to get lots of reviews done!

Books I completed last week:

How Not To Shop by Carmen Reid: This was an okay read, but nothing special. Not one of the greats in the Chick-Lit genre.

Thorn Queen by Richelle Mead: This is the second book in the Dark Swan series and I really enjoyed reading it. Recommend it!

Storm Born by Richelle Mead: This is a great start to the new Dark Swan series. Urban Fantasy at it’s best.

Books I will be reading this week:

Noughts and Crosses (Noughts & Crosses Trilogy)by Malorie Blackman: This YA book is the first book in a series. Really enjoying it – will probably finish today. This was sent to me by Corgi to review.

Knife Edgeby Malorie Blackman: The second book in the Noughts & Crosses series. Looking forward to reading this one as the first is so good. This was sent to me by Corgi to review.

Taintedby Brooke Morgan: This looks like a really good read. It has been getting good reviews. This was sent to me by Arrow to review.

Godmother: The Secret Cinderella Storyby Carolyn Turgeon: A story based on the Cinderella tale. Looks like an interesting read. This was sent for review by Headline Review.

You have an interesting variety there. Thanks for visiting Fresh Ink Books. I love your header, and the colours work so well together, I love soft colours. I'd like to use your button for the meme if you don't mind. Have a good reading week.

I completely agree about Storm Born! What a great read and I'm glad to hear you liked Thorn Queen, too!

Butcher has written Romantic Suspense before, now with this book, she's trying PNR. It was a good story.

Have a great week, too! :)
