July was a fantastic month. It was the month I launched Book Chick City, the month I received my first books to review from publishers and authors and the month I did my first author interview – lots of firsts!
It has been so much fun and I am enjoying it all immensley. So many great bloggers have stopped by and left comments and to be honest, without you guys my blog would be a pretty boring place for me to be. So a million thanks to all.
Also, thank you to all the publishers and authors who have sent me such wonderful books to review, you have been so generous. I will do my very best to read and review them all!
As most of my time this month has been getting Book Chick City up and running, I haven’t read as many books as I usually do. I hope that August will be a better month and my aim is to read 3-5 books per week.

If you read 3 to 5 books a week, I'm impressed! I can't even imagine! Even once the kids get back to school, I'm good for one or two! Nice debut month for you!

Hi Sandy – I know that 3-5 seems a lot but I am a fast reader. It also depends on the length of the book and how easy it is to read. Chick-lit books I can read in a day, something more serious like a classic will probably take a week. Thanks for stopping by, I like reading your comments, you are becoming a regular and I love it!
Hi Jenny – Ahh, thanks for your comments, they are really sweet. I'm glad you like it here, so I hope to see you often
Hi Tam – I spend a lot of time on my blog which I suppose is why it looks as though I've been around longer than a month. I am really happy the way things are going. So pleased you dropped by.

Anna – I say that I will try and read 3-5 books a week, but you know how it is – life just gets in the way. This is my aim though. But all will be revealed in next months review
Alexia – I know! I am SO addicted to challenges! I just can't stop myself from joining them!
Jessica Marie – I know, it is a lot of books to review but I think its because I have just started out, it will die down now and I wont get so many I'm sure.
Thanks all for stopping by – it's great to read your comments x
