Featured Author: Audrey Niffenegger

This weeks featured author is Audrey Niffenegger. I really enjoyed reading the Time Traveler’s Wife and you can read my review HERE.

A Few Facts:

Audrey Niffenegger was born 13 June 1963 in South Haven, Michigan. She is an American writer, visual Artist and a professor at the Columbia College Chicago Centre for Book And Paper Arts, where she teaches writing, letterpress printing and fine edition book production. 

The Time Traveler’s Wife is her debut novel, which has just been released as a film on August 14th, starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams. Her forthcoming novel, Her Fearful Symmetry, should be in the shops by 1st Oct 2009.

Visual Books

  • The Night Bookmobile is a serialised graphic novel which appeared in the London Guardian. It ill be published in book form in 2010.

    I am so excited about Her Fearful Symmetry. Feels like we've been waiting forever for a new book!

    I absolutely adored The Time Traveler's Wife so naturally I was very excited to get a chance to read Her Fearful Symmetry, which was fantastic and I've just reviewed it here). Audrey Niffenegger is an incredible writer and I do hope she writes many more books, I'll definitely read them!

    I've just visited her site and thought that US bloggers might find this offer useful …

    i just finished the Time Traveler's Wife and I'm glad I didn't have to wait as others have waited.

    I'm definitely getting the next book because I really enjoyed this author's style of writing.
