On My Wishlist is a weekly meme that allows us to share the books we haven’t bought yet but are waiting to be bought and devoured. If you are anything like me then your wishlist is getting longer by the day! If you would like to take part and have your own ‘On My Wishlist’ post then you can find more info here. (This post was inspired by the fab In My Mailbox by Kristi at The Story Siren)

I can’t wait to buy this series. It sounds really good. There are three books in the series so far and they are on my wishlist with the hope that I get them for Christmas *hubby hint hint*
Title: Howling at the Moon
Author Karen Macinerney
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Publisher: Ballantine Books
Publication Date: 26 Feb 2008
Summary (Goodreads)
Romance is about to get a little hairy.
Sophie Garou seems to have it all: a great job at a prestigious accounting firm, a closet that rivals a Nordstrom showroom, and a terrific boyfriend who isn’t afraid to use the “M” word. There’s just one little itty-bitty problem: Sophie is a werewolf–and her time of month has a whole new meaning.
Needless to say, life among yummy flesh-and-blood humans is no piece of steak… er, cake!, but regular doses of wolfsbane tea and a mother who runs a magic shop have helped Sophie keep her paranormal pedigree under wraps. Still, when a sexy, golden-eyed werewolf prowls into town, Sophie finds herself struggling to keep her animal impulses in check–not to mention trying to keep things on track with her super hot (and super human) lawyer boyfriend. What’s more, someone is threatening to expose Sophie for what she really is. And when her mother is accused of selling a poison-laced potion, Sophie must sniff out a culprit before the fur hits the fan.

Books in Series:
2. On the Prowl
This book has been on my wishlist for ages. I really should buy it as it sounds like such a fun read. There are seven books in this series now, so I really do need to get cracking! I wonder if I can sneak this one onto my list for Santa too?!
Title: Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye
Author: Victoria Laurie
Genre: Paranormal
Publisher: Signet
Publication Date: 7 Oct 2008
Summary (Goodreads)
You’d think being clairvoyant would give Abigail Cooper the ability to avoid danger. But being psychic doesn’t necessarily allow you to sidestep murder and mayhem – it just lets you know that they’re coming…
In Royal Oak, a suburb of Detroit, thirtysomething Abby Cooper lives a life that’s kind of like vanilla ice cream–good enough, but a little bland. Her work as a P. I.–Psychic Intuitive–can be rewarding, but she feels like somehow she’s missing out on the hot-fudge topping…
Now she’s getting what she wished for–when a client winds up dead and the clues start pointing in Abby’s direction. Turns out she knows too many details about the murder for her own good. To make matters worse, the hot blind date she just met is the lead investigator on the case. And gorgeous Detective Dutch Rivers is convinced she’s a fraud. No matter how great her psychic abilities, Abby doesn’t know if she can solve this case. Unfortunately for her, though, the killer thinks she can…
Books in Series:
5. Crime Seen

This sounds like fun don’t you think? I’ve wanted this book for a while. I just love the cover, it’s so cute! I was lucky enough to win the second book in the series, so I really should buy this one!
Title: The Spellman Files
Author: Lisa Lutz
Genre: Mystery
Publisher: Pocket Books
Publication Date: 4 Aug 2008
Summary (Amazon UK)
Izzy Spellman is 28, single and works for Spellman Investigations, a family-run private detective agency. She might have a chequered past littered with romantic mistakes – but at least she’s good at her job. Invading people’s privacy comes naturally. To the whole family. To be a Spellman is to snoop on a Spellman; tail a Spellman; dig up dirt on, blackmail and wiretap a Spellman. But when Izzy’s parents hire her 14-year-old sister to discover the identity of her new boyfriend, Izzy decides she wants out. Before they’ll let her go, her parents ask her to solve one last case – a 15-year-old, ice-cold, missing person, impossible-to-solve case. But when a disappearance occurs far closer to home, Izzy’s Impossible Case becomes the most important of her life.
