Wow, I can’t believe it’s the end of 2009… It really feels as though it should still be summer, but Christmas and New Year has come and gone and I’m welcoming in 2010. This year should be good. I have seen the future and the future looks bright… for books that is (as mentioned in my Top Ten Most Anticipated Reads & YA Reads 2010). December was a good month. I received some great books to review and interviewed some seriously lovely authors. I also had my Christmas Week event which was fun…

So, I have posted my Top Ten Reads ’09, Top Ten Covers ’09 and Top Ten Most Anticipated YA Reads ’10. Now for my Top Ten Most Anticipated Reads 2010. There are many… I was going to post my top twenty but then I thought that was too many and to keep in with the theme I narrowed it down to ten. It was very difficult. I thought 2009 was a great book year, but it looks as though 2010 is going to be even better. So, without further ado,…

There are so many books that look amazing in 2010. Some in my top ten have already been released in the US but are not released here in the UK until some time in 2010. It was hard to narrow them down, but I must say that all these books sound fantastic reads. So, here is my top ten most anticipated YA reads 2010: 1. We by John Dickinson Publisher: David Fickling Books Release Date: 7 Jan 2010 Summary:  We are the only Humans left…In the furthest, coldest, darkest reaches…

There have been some amazing covers over the last year. But what I have noticed is that, for me, most of them are either YA or kick-arse chick There have been some good covers, even some great covers from the adult market, but YA delivers sensational covers. I wonder why this is? Anyway, here are my top ten fav covers of 2009: 1. Fallen 2. Fire 3. Hush Hush 4. Nekropolis 5. Boneshaker 6. The Skinner 7. Soulless 8. Skinwalker 9. Deadtown 10. Demon Forged

2009 has been an interesting year for me regarding books. I’ve read a lot more YA than I have done in the past and my reading list is pretty eclectic. I’ve read crime, horror, fantasy, science fiction, romance, chick-lit, urban fantasy and paranormal romance. As you know, my blog is now pretty much dedicated to speculative fiction (with a sprinkling of crime and romance). You will see this change more in 2010. For now, my list of top ten reads is basically a list of all my favourite books I’ve…

WOW!! I didn’t even know about the voting until Natalie from Mindful Musings let me know that I was in the top 10 and in a tie with the fab Rachel from Parajunkee’s View. I keep saying it but I’m seriously stunned and honored to be voted 6th place. I really can’t believe it as look at the company I’m with!  Thank you so much to all who voted for me. It’s such a nice feeling to think that you like my blog enough to vote and I truly appreciate your readership and support….
