This is the GORGEOUS new cover for the second book in the Fallen series, Torment, by Lauren Kate. I absolutely *love* it! I really enjoyed Fallen, so can’t wait to read the next installment. What do you think of the cover? Which do you like best Fallen or Torment, or just can’t choose? I think I’m leaning towards the new cover :)

fairly similar but I think I like this one better, it's lighter and it doesn't remind me of Toni Morrison's Beloved (which was creepy as shit lol) http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_MLDG.....eloved.jpg

I think I like the new cover the most, it kind of illustrates the story a little better. The cover for Fallen is a little cartoon-ish, but it's still really beautiful :)

Lucky! Hubby knows my love for books but he see's that so many of the ones I have get no love. Besides he has no say in me seeing Wicked or spending $100 to dye my hair, I guess it's fair he stops me from buying books though it would cost less to buy a book than to dye my hair…. haha.

I've been itching to read Fallen for some time now, but I can't my TBR list down! The Torment cover is gorgeous! I personally like it better than the Fallen cover.

Both are fantastic covers. I'm planning on getting the paperback of Fallen and will undoubtedly buy Torment, too!

They're both so pretty! Maybe just by a really narrow margin I like Torment more.

Torment looks like her style so I'm betting she did it as well. It's GORGEOUS! Cannot wait to read it!

It's the same artist as for Fallen. Both original art pieces can be seen on her deviant art page.

I just love these covers. But If I got to choose which one, I would pick Torment :)

I am so excited to see how the cover on book number 3 would look like :)
