Yesterday Little Brown UK announced that Sherrilyn Kenyon has a new UK website (make sure you check it out as it’s fab!). They also mentioned that she has a new young adult series coming soon, with the first book, Infinity being published by their imprint Atom. I asked and was sent the cover for Infinity. I really like it and the summary sounds really good so I’m looking forward to reading it. What do you think – you likey?

Summary
Nick Gautier thinks he knows everything. Streetwise, tough and savvy, his quick sarcasm is renowned. But his whole world is suddenly turned upside down on the night his best friends try to kill him.

Saved by a mysterious warrior, Nick is sucked into the realm of the Dark-Hunters – immortal vampire-slayers who risk everything to save humanity – and he quickly learns that the human world is only a veil for a much larger and more dangerous one that’s filled with all kinds of evil. However, before he can even learn the rules of this new world, his fellow students start turning into flesh-eating members of the undead.

Nick knows he’s in real danger and he soon has a lot more to deal with than starting high school: he’s under pressure to hide his new friends from his mother and his chainsaw from the principal while trying to impress the girl he has a crush on – all without getting grounded, suspended . . . or killed.

Ok, I'm feeling very excited about this series as I really like Nick in the Dark Hunter series. I assume this is a prequel to before he became one himself as his mother is mentioned?

This will definitely be added to my TBR pile.

Great cover too :)

I likey. :) But then I like everything that comes from SK.
I am thinking the same way as Laura – is this a prequel since Nick is so young and still goes to school?

Oh how exciting! I love Nick from the Dark Hunter series! But I am wondering how any potential love interests will work out, since we already know so much about what he becomes? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for stopping by guys – I haven't read the Dark Hunter series, so as this is a sort of prequel this book will be a good place to start. Glad you're liking the cover! :)

This sounds very good! I have only read the first 2 of DH and met Nick through Kirian. Great series so far, and this sounds pretty good as YA as well. Looking forward to reading it and having my daughter join in.

This sounds really good! I haven't read anything by Skerrilyn Kenyon before. If it is a prequel, maybe I should start with the Dark Hunter series.
