This week on BCC...(plus contest winners!)

This week on Book Chick City...

•••••••••••••••••••

Monday I will be reviewing the first book in 'the Wallflower's' series by Lisa Kleypas, Secrets of a Summer Night, continuing my new found love for historical romance.

On Tuesday, I have an interview with the awesome Kelley Armstrong, which I conducted in person while attending the World Horror Con in Brighton a few months back - and yes, it really has taken me this long to transcribe! But it was well worth it!

There will also be a giveaway of Tales of the Otherworld courtesy of Orbit, which, while I was with Kelley, asked her to kindly sign especially for one lucky winner!

Wednesday I'll be reviewing My Wicked Marquess by historical romance author, Gaelen Foley.

Later in the day on Wednesday, I will also be posting my 'Month in Review' for May.

Thursday's guest for my weekly feature 'Where Stories Are Made' is paranormal romance author, Jaime Rush, well known for her 'Offspring' series. This is a great post, with some fab photos - not to be missed!

On Friday I will be reviewing On the Steamy Side by Louisa Edwards. I enjoyed reading her debut novel Can't Stand the Heat.

Saturday's 'On My Wishlist' will be posted as usual - you are welcome to join in, just stop by and add your direct url to Mr Linky. Click here for more info.

And last but not least, on Sunday I welcome Leontine from Leontine's Book Realm, who gives us a tour of her awesome bookshelves for my fortnightly feature, 'The Blogger's Bookshelf'.

I love historical romance, although still haven't read any Lisa Kleypas' books, so I'll be waiting for your review! Also, I finished On the Steamy Side yesterday & although I enjoyed Can't Stand the Heat, I loved On the Steamy Side even more, so I hope you'll like it, too!

that is an absolutely gorgeous cover of Secrets of a Summer Night, I've never seen it before. I own a beat up copy of it I traded for on bookmooch :)

I think you'll really love the Wallflowers series, I certainly do. I've read quite a bit of Kleypas since then and nothing seems to measure up to them.

I can't wait to read your review and see what you think :)

Aleksandra - I'm so pleased you liked On the Steamy Side. I really enjoyed Can't Stand the Heat so I was hoping that the next book would be just as good. I'm glad to hear it's even better!

Suzanne - Thanks! I'm loving my new found genre. I can't believe I waited this long to read romance - now I will never go back!

Melissa - Make sure you stop by for the giveaway then! :D

Allison - The cover for Secrets of a Summer Night is for the UK edition. I like it too! :)

I love historical romance! I read A Wallflower Christmas (quick, cute read) and have been meaning to pick up the rest in the Wallflower series so I can read about the other "wallflower" women.
