April was quite a good month for me. I went to Odyssey 2010 (EasterCon) which was fun. It was also my birthday and the hubster bought be a gorgeous new iMac and took me out for a lovely meal. I also used Spring Form so you could ask me any questions you liked, as it was my birthday – you can read the questions/answers HERE. I also hosted a House of Night week which was really fun and I reviewed the entire series, including the new 7th installment, Burned.

Book Chick City News

• I went to my first Odyssey (EasterCon), which is a science fiction and fantasy convention. It was no where near as good as World Horror Con, which was just awesome! I did have fun though and met up with a few bloggers, authors and publishers. You can read about my day in detail HERE.

• Book Chick City also added a new regular guest reviewer – Laura. You will see Laura popping in twice a month with some really fab reviews and maybe the odd interview. I’m really excited to be working with her and look forward to reading her reviews. You can get to know a bit more about Laura HERE.

• As mentioned, this month I hosted House of Night Week. There were lots of book reviews, guest posts, an interview with PC Cast and an amazing giveaway. I hoped you enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you to all my guests and to all who supplied prizes.

What a great month for you. Your House of Night week led me to buying and reading (and loving) Marked. So, thanks – I have the rest of the series to look forward to :)

Now that's a good present – a new iMac. I'd prefer it over jewelry any day, but I guess that just proves that I'm a geek at heart. Mine is getting on two years old now, and while I love it, part of me wants to upgrade, badly.
