On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It’s where I list all the books I desperately want but haven’t actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. It’s also an event that you can join in with too – Mr Linky is always at the ready for you to link your own ‘On My Wishlist’ post. If you want to know more click here. (Idea inspired by The Story Siren)
As this is House of Night Week, I thought my wishlist this week would contain books by the same author, P. C. Cast.
Goddess of the Sea (Goddess Summoning #1)
P. C. Cast (Berkley)
Publication Date: 1 June 2006
Paperback: 416 pages
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Goodreads Summary:
Home alone on the night of her twenty-fifth birthday, Air Force Sergeant Christine Canady yearned for something to cure her loneliness. After drinking too much champagne, she recited a divine invocation to revive her humdrum life. But how was she to know the spell would actually work?
When her plane crashes into the ocean, CC’s life changes forever. She awakens, bewildered, to find herself in a legendary time and place ruled by magic—and in the body of the mythical mermaid Undine. But danger lurks in the water, ready to swallow CC whole. Taking pity on her, the Goddess Gaea turns CC into a damsel so that she might seek shelter on land. When a dashing knight comes to CC’s rescue, instead of falling for this dream-come-true, she aches for the sea and the darkly sexy merman who’s stolen her heart…
Books In Series Order:

Immortal (Love Stories with Bite)
Edited by P. C. Cast (Benbella Books)
Publication Date: Oct 2009
Paperback: 280 pages
Genre: Fantasy, Romance
Goodreads Summary:
In Immortal: Love Stories With Bite, edited by New York Times bestselling author of the House of Night series P.C. Cast, seven of today’s most popular YA vampire and contemporary fantasy authors offer new short stories that prove that when you’re immortal, true love really is forever.
Rachel Caine (the Morganville Vampires series) revisits the setting of her popular series, where the vampires are in charge and love is risky
Cynthia Leitich Smith (Tantalize) gives us a love triangle between a vampire, a ghost and a human girl, in which none of them are who or what they seem
Claudia Gray (Evernight) takes us into the world of her Evernight series, in which a pre-Civil War courtesan-to-be is courted by a pale, fair-haired man whose attentions are too dangerous to spurn
Richelle Mead (the Vampire Academy series) brings us the tale of a young vampire on the run from the rest of her kind, and the human boy who provides the getaway car
Nancy Holder (the Wicked series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) immerses us in a post-apocalyptic New York where two best friends are forced to make a choice that may kill them both
Kristin Cast (the House of Night series) introduces us to a new kind of vampire: one with roots in Greek mythology, and the power to alter space and time
Tanith Lee (Black Unicorn) shows us what happens when a bright young woman with some supernatural savvy encounters a misguided (but gorgeous) young vampire
So that’s my wishlist this week – what’s on yours?
Please note: On My Wishlist will be back to being posted on a Saturday as of next weekend

Oh, dear! =S I entered the right link into the linky, but forgot to check if the post's name was correct. I'm sorry about that!
My review of Father's Arcane Daughter was linked up to another blog party very recently.

I adore the House of Night series but I haven't tried Cast's other series but I want to! Immortal is on my wishlist as well. I've picked it up in the bookstore several times but I always manage to put it back down before I check out.

Hi guys, thanks for stopping by. Glad you all like my choices this week! I have Divine by Mistake on my shelf to read, which is why I couldn't add series to my wishlist as I've already got it, but it sounds really good, looking forward to reading it. See y'all next week!
