This week on Book Chick City…
•••••••••••••••••••
Continuing my ‘Romance’ kick, I thought I would read a contemporary romance. So, on Monday I will be reviewing On the Steamy Side by Louisa Edwards. (This was meant to be posted last Friday, but life got in the way…)
On Tuesday, I have the awesome Noa, Day and Peggy from the Paperback Dolls (great name!) coming over to talk about the books they love, in my new fortnightly feature, ‘Books We Love‘.
On Wednesday, Laura will be reviewing Girl from Mars by romance author, Julie Cohen.
Thursday’s guest for my weekly feature ‘Where Stories Are Made‘ is horror writer, Thomas Emson. Great post and photos – not to be missed!
On Friday I will be reviewing The Iron Hunt by Marjorie M. Liu (Hunter’s Kiss #1).
Saturday’s ‘On My Wishlist‘ will be posted as usual – you are welcome to join in, just stop by and add your direct url to Mr Linky. Click here for more info.

Also, just a reminder, Book Chick City will be hosting The Bookworms Carnival soon – the deadline for entries is 2nd July, so please start sending your links. My theme is ‘Speculative Fiction’ so if you have any reviews, or articles – basically any post with a speculative fiction theme (fantasy, sci-fi, horror) – then send them to bookchickcity [at] dsl [dot] pipex [dot] com. I will post my Bookworm Carnival 5th July! (Please note, I may not be able to post all review/posts sent depending on amount received).

Anyway, that’s all folks! Hope you all have a fantastic week! xoxo

I've fallen in love with that cover for Girl From Mars, but I'm worried it'll be cheesy, hokey chick lit masquerading under the guise of sci-fi. I'm eagerly awaiting the review, because it's a real science fiction romance I'll give it a try.

Haha! I think you are probably right, which is the reason I chose NOT to review it! I'm interested in the review too, haven't seen it myself yet.

@Rebecca and @BookChickCity I have just finished writing the review for 'Girl from Mars', I'll let you wait for Wednesday
I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of Marjorie M Liu's book – as haven't read any of hers for a while and wondering if it's worth getting back into the series.
