Top 10 with Lilith Saintcrow (+ Giveaway!)

Today I have the pleasure in welcoming Lili St. Crow, author of the Strange Angels series. I have read and reviewed books #1 in the series, Strange Angels and have the next two on my tbr pile.
You also have the chance to win the three books in the series so far: Strange Angels, Betrayals and Jealousy at the end of this post, so make sure you enter!

BCC: Welcome to Book Chick City Lilith - this is your second time at BCC and it's lovely to have you back!
Lilith: Hello! It's nice to be back.
BCC: Today's interview is a bit different - it's called 'Author's Top Ten Favourites' - you don't have to give one word answers - you can elaborate if you want to :) So, here we go...
1. Favourite Country?
I'd live in France, if I could. And not just for the food! But America's nice too, and the UK. It's hard to have a favorite.
2. Favourite Word?
I really can't decide. I love words; our little family plays with words the way some other families play with footballs. Right now my son is enamored of "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious", and my daughter likes "antidisestablismentarianism". The most interesting word I've come across lately is "fantod".
3. Favourite Food?
Again, there's too many to choose! I'm a big fan of Thai food--drunken noodles with tofu are my favorite, and I haven't met a single Indian dish I don't like (with enough naan). Right at the moment, however, I'm craving pistachio gelato.
4. Favourite Drink?
Water with a squirt of Key Lime juice. With espresso shots as a close second.
5. Favourite Book?
I hate to sound like a broken record...but there's just so many! If I could take one book to a desert island for the rest of my life, it would have to be Gibbon's Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. If I could take two, it would be Gibbon, and Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre. Jane is a comfort read for me. Right now I'm reading a book titled Nabokov, Perversely, and enjoying it quite a bit. I just finished Dan Simmons's Drood, and enjoyed that as well.
6. Favourite Animal?
That's easy. Crows. Or any member of the Corvidae family. Smart, savvy survivors, and so good-natured.
7. Favourite City?
Paris. The city I have the most connection with, though, is probably Seattle.
8. Favourite way to travel?
By train, if I have to travel at all. I loathe the indignities visited on one before one boards a plane, but the actual flight isn't so bad. All the same, though, I'd rather take the train, or drive myself.
9. Favourite place to write?
Anyplace I can settle down. When I'm writing, the outside world doesn't matter. I'm virtually blind to it. Right now I've my laptop set up so I can look out my front window and see my street, but it might as well be the moon for all I pay attention to it while writing.
10. Favourite time of day?
I do have an unqualified favorite time of day--dusk, when the sky is that very deep, aching blue. Usually dinner is done by then, and everyone is settled down, and I have a long period in which to work uninterrupted.
BCC: Thanks Lilith and best of luck with Jealousy!
Lilith: Thanks for having me!

Thanks for having Lili. I enjoyed reading the interview. I have to say, I read her Strange Angels and quite like it. Hope Betrayals and Jealousy will be way better. I'm looking forward to her books!
Garh! Can't enter, but I still enjoyed the interview. :)
Awww - too bad, I'm in the U.S.
I do enjoy Lilith (or Lili) St.Crow's books- she is one of my favorite authors. I enjoyed your take on an interview, and Ms Saintcrow's answers.
I haven't read the Strange Angels, but I enjoyed her Dante Valentine series.
I liked the fun format of this interview too.
Oh wow! What a lovely interview. You should come to the UK more often.
Oh fave words, my Dad would love to say antidisestablishmentarianism ti us all the time. That brought back memories! Wonderful interview.
Keep feeling better you are one of my faves :)
