BBAW: Future Treasure + Giveaway!

Today is the last day of Book Blogger Appreciation Week (BBAW) and the last topic is Future Treasure where I get the chance to share what I have enjoyed most about BBAW 2010 and also what my blogging goals are for the coming year!

It’s been a great week. I’ve read lots of interesting posts, found lots of new books to read and a new blog or two. This is my second BBAW, and although last year had an excitement about it I felt was lacking this time round, BBAW 2010 has still been a week full of fun with lots of giveaways, awards and great posts!

To recap on my BBAW posts this week:

Day 1: First Treasure: I couldn’t list just one of the blogs I had found since BBAW 2009 so I listed five! They are all great, but you just have to look at my sidebar to see ALL of my favs!

Day 2: New Treasure: This was an interview swap between bloggers and for PART 1 of this topic I interviewed the lovely Jean from Maurice on Books, but I also did a PART 2 which was a Q&A between me and Laura, which was really fun – you should definitely check this out!

Day 3: Unexpected Treasure: I wrote about my love for a new found genre “ROMANCE” – the books I’ve read and the books I’m looking forward to reading.

Day 4: Forgotten Treasure: The “Black Jewels Trilogy” by Anne Bishop – Laura did a great job with this topic and I have added this one to my wishlist after her rave review!

To recap on my BBAW Giveaways this week:

Day 1: Monday’s Giveaway
Day 2: Tuesday’s Giveaway
Day 5: Friday’s Giveaway – check end of this post!

I have a few blogging goals for the coming year – to read more, review more and continue to keep things fresh *have a few ideas up my sleave*. The last twelve months have been hard work but awesome too. One of the biggest additions to BCC is Laura – she has been amazing and we have become good friends, albeit by email – but hope to meet up very soon! :)

I’ve enjoyed ‘meeting’ lots of like-minded people, talking about books, recommending books – my wishlist has become even more colossal since becoming a part of the book blogging community. So, I hope you’ve enjoyed Book Blogger Appreciation Week as much as I have…see you all next year!

Please consider this comment your invitation to finish up your BBAW week by adding a link to any reviews you've managed to post this week to the Saturday Review of Books at Semicolon this Saturday. Every week book bloggers from all over the blogosphere post links to their reviews and other bloggers and readers check out the reviews and find even more books to add to their wishlists.

Thanks for blogging and reading and sharing.
