VAMPIRE ACADEMY WEEK!

With the release of the last ever Vampire Academy book, Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead on the 7th December, I thought I would do something a little special to celebrate it. So from the 6th to 10th of December, I will be reviewing all six books in the series and have a short but fun 10 questions with the author herself. So I hope you will join me in what I hope will be a fun week!

Also, just for your viewing pleasure, here are the absolutely gorgeous new UK covers. I love them, how about you?

I really like the new covers :) maybe I'll actually go out and by these books now rather than get them from the library!!

Awesome! I am debating on whether to re-read them all before the new one comes out. I would have to start now (though I did HP in 2 weeks).

I'm not a big fan of the covers. I like the US one's better, seeing the characters and all, it add more personality to the cover. I'm really excited for book 6!

AW no, most of you don't like my UK covers :( LOL I think they are gorgeous and even better in real life. I love the blood red colour and the design, I think they're very striking.

I understand that some of you prefer the previous covers with the same models as the US editions, but I'm not a fan of that type of cover as more often than not it doesn't look like the character I've imagined.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment, always nice to hear from you! :)

Gorgeous UK covers – how do they always manage to make everything uber classy?????

Richelle Mead lands in my top 5 fav authors – all her series are fresh and innovative and in the VA series, she nails it! (although several of her books definitely got hurled across the room in angsty frustration!) ;-)

Love the idea of a VA week!

Hate the new UK covers, sorry lol. I have LS, and disagree about them being better in person as well. The modals on the US versions may not fit my images of the characters, but I love the gate design and well, I just think they're much better put together covers than these new UK ones which I see as plain, dull and don't fit the books. Even more annoyed that they got changed now so LS doesn't fit the previous UK covers. But then, I do have a US set as well, so I'll just complete that one and they can sit pretty on my faves shelf ;)
