The Vampire Chronicles Reading Challenge 2011!
Welcome to The Vampire Chronicles Reading Challenge! I read ‘Interview with the Vampire’ many years ago and since then have only read four of the ten books that make up The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, so when I received an email from Ines (one of BCC’s regular readers) asking whether I would host a reading challenge for The Vampire Chronicles, I thought it was a fab idea! So thanks, Ines

Would Pandora and Vittorio count as well since Pandora is a character from the series and Vittorio is set in the same world?

Hi Ryan – Unfortunately I don't think they do count. I went to Anne Rice's website and she only lists the books I've listed on the sign-up post as those which are part of The Vampire Chronicles

Great idea for a reading challenge! I would sign up but I've already got my plate full.

BV – I know how you feel LOL But I'm only going to host 5 challenges and that's all I'm participating in, I think that's enough for one year

Great challenge & I'm definitely going to try and read Interview with a Vampire this year, but I'm not sure I can fit in all of the books in so I shall pass, but I'll look forward to reading everyone else's reviews

Laura – I would definitely try and read 'Interview with the Vampire', such a fantastic novel and probably one of my all time favs. Can't believe it was written in 1979!

I love this Challenge! Anne Rice inspired my love for paranormal. Can't wait to re-read those I've read and look forward to reading those I haven't in the VC series.

I read the first 4 books and acquired all the others thereafter but never finished reading them. I stoped at Memnoch he Devil. Anne Rice was my first love in reading and I love this series. I read the Mayfair Witch series as well and read several of the other spinoff Vampire books, Pandora is still one of my all time favorites. Violin is also an amazing book but is a ghost story…I love Anne!
I will sign up on principle alone
