‘Where Stories Are Made‘ is a new feature here at Book Chick City. It’s where the author takes us on a tour of their writing place, be it an office, coffee shop or park and tells us about their writing day and rituals.
My guest today is author, Andrea Cremer author of young adult novel, ‘Nightshade‘…
I’m fairly adamant that I can write anywhere as long as I have two things: music and coffee. The coffee helps me keep up the frenzied pace at which I like to write. The music is essential for inspiration. I create playlists while I’m drafting and then full soundtracks for my novel when I get to the editing stage.
Though I’m not picky about where my writing happens, I’m usually found writing in my living room, sitting on the couch with the company of my laptop.
My iPod.
And my French Press coffee pot (as you can see it’s empty here, which is common as I’m drinking the coffee as fast as I can make it!)
Though I’m happy to write in lots of place, a perk of writing at home is that I have help – in the form of my two dogs: Gwyn the border collie and Rocco the pug. Gwyn is happy enough to sit nearby and keep the house in order. Rocco gets a little more involved.

I love your dog. When I was a teenager I had a cat that would wrap herself around me like that.
