‘Cover Crush’ is a regular feature here at BCC. I love covers – they’re the first thing that catches my eye and will be the primary reason I pick up a book. This feature is where I highlight gorgeous covers of books I’ve seen either around the blogosphere or at the bookshop. These posts run sporadically, as soon as I see a cover I love, I post it!

These are the new UK covers to six of the novels from the ‘Immortals After Dark‘ paranormal romance series by Kresley Cole, published by Simon & Schuster. I think they are great – I much prefer them to the US editions.

I’m lucky to have the first three in the series to read and I’m really looking forward to delving into this world. So, what do you think – do you likey?

Oooooh I LOVE those covers! I wish they were the US versions too. Our covers leave much to be desired… But the series is absolutely amazing!

l love a series of books with covers like these!

Oooh I agree Carolyn, they look so much better than the US ones! When I first discovered this series I had to hide my copies because the old US covers made it look cheap and a bit trashy, never would have lived down how my sisters would have teased me mercilessly.. But these new UK covers are classy, thrilling and sophisticated. Really like them!

too many 'half faces' book covers over here as it is, I prefer the original US ones- plus it's more expensive to get our own editions than get the normal ones- it's baffling! (I live in Australia so we get the UK versions too).

Tori – me too :)

Ahsley – I'm glad to hear the series is amazing – I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in :)

BLHmistress – I like these more than US but it's just taste :)

Deborah – Yay – I can't wait to start book one!

Crystal Posey – My sentiments exactly ;)

Books for Company – Yes! I agree, they are very Sookieish!

Felicia – No, I don't *dislike* the US versions but I much prefer to UK editions. I could at least read the books in public LOL *only kidding* :)

Stella – I do get a little embarrassed if have to read books with half naked bodies on the front, so yes – these covers are more in my confort zone :)

Camille – To be honest I think there are far too many 'bare chests' and 'half naked bodies' on books these days, so give me 'half faces' any time :)
