Book Chick City’s Banner Design
BCC BANNER
I’ve had numerous emails about my lovely pink-haired Brit-chick over since she first came to life 18 months ago, as well as emails regarding all the other designs on Book Chick City, so I thought I would write a post so everything is in one place for people to read.

I’ll start with the main design that you all know as Book Chick City. At the beginning of September 2009, roughly two months on from setting up my blog, I decided I wanted to change my look. I wanted something totally unique and something that wasn’t out there already in the blogosphere. So I went searching and found the lovely Lauren on istockphotos and sent her an email.
It took us a month to get the finished image you all see now. Lauren will contest to the fact that I’m very picky with my overly perfectionist nature, but it seemed to work as after countless daily emails we finally got to the image I had in my mind.
Every once and a while the banner gets a little make-over for seasonal reasons – the banner below is for the month of December and to celebrate Christmas.

This one is to celebrate all things that go bump in the night and for my “All Hallows Eve” event which runs for the whole month of October.

I think Lauren is so talented and I can’t thank her enough for creating my beautiful banners. Also, just so you know, all the book chick city designs are copyright to me – this includes the main banner, the blog button, and any other designs that contain these images. This is my design by law so please do not copy it, use it or distribute it without prior permission!
