‘Cover Crush’ is a regular feature here at BCC. I love covers – they’re the first thing that catches my eye and will be the primary reason I pick up a book. This feature is where I highlight gorgeous covers of books I’ve seen either around the blogosphere or at the bookshop. These posts run sporadically, as soon as I see a cover I love, I post it!
Don’t you just love these covers – they are from the “Party Planning Mystery Series” featuring Presley Parker. I think they are just so warm and inviting. I love the girls face, she looks really cute and the fonts the publishers have used for the title and the authors name are great.

Each time I see a new book release along with the new cover art it just makes me want to read this series. I have actually got book one on my shelf, so I may just pick it up sooner rather than later… I do enjoy a cosy mystery every now and then.

What do you guys think? Do you like them?

Book One
Summary
Presley Parker was just happy to get her party planning business off the ground. Now she’s gotten the gig of the year, planning Mayor Davin Green’s sumptuous “surprise” wedding for his socialite fiancée, to be held on Alcatraz.

But when the bride is found floating in the bay and the original party planner is found murdered, Presley becomes the prime suspect. If the attractive crime scene cleaner, Brad Matthews, doesn’t help her tidy her reputation, she’ll be exchanging her formal wear for prison stripes…

Book Two

Summary

Presley Parker is hosting a Murder Mystery party thrown by a notorious yet benevolent curator, Mary lee Miller. But when the role play becomes terrifyingly real, and Mary Lee is found dead, Presley kicks her sleuthing into high gear-only to find that someone wants the life of the party dead too…

Book Three
Summary
As party planner Presley Parker investigates a murder during a séance party at San Francisco’s famous Winchester Mystery House, she doesn’t need a Ouija board to tell her someone’s trying to scare her to death…

They look fabulous. They remind me of the Meg Cabot books a little bit.

Fantastic series. I'm really in desperate need of some great art work like that for the cover of my book. My artistic skills are pretty poor!

I'm a big fan of Agatha Christie so this should be something for me. Hope this book series will come to Norwegian book stories. That would be great. The covers are sweet too!
