On the 13th May I was invited to my second Headline’s Blogger’s Party. It was lovely to see all the publicists again and have a chat. Sadly, I didn’t get to speak to everyone as there were quite a few authors and bloggers who attended.
When we arrived we were shown a brilliant presentation of upcoming Headline books, including urban fantasy, HIT LIST by Laurell K. Hamilton (Anita Blake #20); YA paranormal, CRYPT: THE GALLOW’S CURSE by Andrew Hammond and paranormal romance, AVENGER’S ANGEL by Heather Killough-Walden – all of which sound totally fab!
Then we had THE quiz, which is becoming a bit of a tradition, if not a little bit infamous (well done Sam!)…it’s great fun, and although my team came third, Laura’s team came in tops and I’m so happy she won a little medal *not jealous at all* ;D
We also had the chance to meet and chat with some really interesting authors, some of who signed their books for me.
Julie Cohen
Cathy Brett
Jill Mansell
Julia Crouch
Also…
Geraint Anderson – JUST BUSINESS
Jonathan L. Howard – JOHANNES CABAL THE DETECTIVE
Jenna Burtenshaw – BLACKWATCH
It was a really lovely afternoon and made even more so by Laura coming with me – it was great to meet up with her again. It was great to meet Sarah from Feeling Fictional and Vivienne from Serendipity (again).
Thanks so much to Sam, Maura, Helena and all the other lovely ladies at Headline who made the afternoon such a fun event! :)

Sounds like you had a good time. Where was this held. So many cons, so little time. Love this blog.

It was great fun, thank you so much for inviting me :-) I have to confess though I was rubbish at the quiz and think I only answered one question, I was just lucky to have a good team lol ;-)

Wow, there are some amazing titles there. Sounds like you had a fabulous time, but really, how could you not? I keep trying to time my trips to London around some of the book events, and keep failing miserably.
