On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It’s where we list all the books we desperately want but haven’t actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. It’s also an event that you can join in with too – Mr Linky is always at the ready for you to link your own ‘On My Wishlist’ post. CAROLYN’S WISHLIST
This one sounds and looks…well…’wicked’
I actually really like the cover too. Thanks to @Leontine1976 for the recommendation, as I found this one on her blog.
Wicked As They Come
Delilah S. Dawson (Pocket)
Publication Date: March 2012
Genre: Urban Fantasy

Summary:
First in a steampunk-tinged paranormal romance series in which a woman is transported to a world where vampires are common and she possesses psychic abilities. (Goodreads)
This sounds pretty good – I’m not sure if I like this cover or not…
Blood Law (Blood Moon Trilogy #1)
Karin Tabke (Berkley)
Publication Date: May 2011
Genre: Paranormal Romance

Summary:
For all eternity, only one thing shall separate them—until the Blood Law is avenged…
The coming of the Blood Moon will lead two Lycan packs into war, spur two rival brothers into conflict, and spark an act of vengeance so evil that its effects will be felt for generations.
One woman stands at the center of it all.
As undisputed Alpha, Rafael must choose a life mate to preserve the dominance of his Lycan pack. He never suspected his mate would be a human, the same wounded, woman he seduces from the brink of death. Falon is a dangerous combination of Lycan and Slayer—beings bred to destroy his kind. Even more, she’s a mesmerizing beauty whose sensuality tempts the seasoned warrior to take unnecessary risks. The primal heat between them is irresistible, yet surrendering to it could destroy them both… for a vengeful foe stands ready in the shadows to fulfill what is rightfully his by Blood Law. (Goodreads)
LAURA’S WISHLIST
This one is an interesting looking Dystopian, Science Fiction. I also love the retro feel to the book cover.
The Postmortal
Drew Magary (Penguin)
Publication Date: August 2011
Genre: Science Fiction

Summary:
John Farrell is about to get “The Cure.”
Old age can never kill him now.
The only problem is, everything else still can…
Imagine a near future where a cure for aging is discovered and-after much political and moral debate-made available to people worldwide. Immortality, however, comes with its own unique problems-including evil green people, government euthanasia programs, a disturbing new religious cult, and other horrors. Witty, eerie, and full of humanity, The Postmortal is an unforgettable thriller that envisions a pre-apocalyptic world so real that it is completely terrifying. (Goodreads)
I’ve recently read and reviewed ‘Divine by Mistake‘ which I really loved, so I really want to pick up the next one in the series!
Divine By Choice (Divine Trilogy #2)
P. C. Cast (Mira)
Publication Date: November 2009
Genre: Paranormal Romance

Summary:
After being mistaken for a goddess in the mythic world of Partholon, high school English teacher Shannon Parker settled in. She adores her sexy centaur husband, is getting used to her connection to the powerful goddess Epona and thoroughly enjoys the pampering from both! All is looking very right in her world…until she is wrenched from Partholon and sent back to Oklahoma.
As she struggles to return to the world and the husband she loves, Shannon discovers she is not alone.
A great evil has followed her. Now more than just Shannon’s future is at stake, and she needs to somehow tap into our world’s dormant magic. Her only ally is her husband’s mirror image in Oklahoma–a man who loves her too much. Shannon must figure out a way to vanquish the ancient evil and not lose her life, her soul or her heart.
Along the way she discovers that being divine by mistake is a lot easier than being divine by choice….(Goodreads)
