• Ex-Cop - Warren Hammond (Tor)
• Fever - Dee Shulman (Razorbill YA-ARC)

I finished the first book in Karen Marie Moning’s ‘Fever’ series, ‘Darkfever‘ and I can’t believe it took me so long to start this series. This book was just fab, and Barrons is my new found love. He’s so dark and delicious I can’t wait to continue the series (full review to come). I also read ‘Royal Street’ by Suzanne Johnson, the first in a new urban fantasy series and really enjoyed it (Laura and I will be writing a joint review of this one).

This week I finished reading ‘Dark Predator‘ by Christine Feehan, which I have to confess I struggled with, so now I’m finding it hard to write the review. And I have just begun reading paranormal romance, ‘The Goblin King‘ by Shona Husk.
I’ve had a good week as my husband has had a week’s holiday so we’ve been doing fun things with our four and a half month old son, including taking him for his very first swim

This week I received new books for review, and got stuck straight in, starting off by reading ‘Shadow Ops: Control Point’ by Myke Cole. The book took me by surprise, as I took one look at the cover and thought I wouldn’t like it, being pleasantly surprised when it was one of the best books I’ve read for quite a while. I then moved onto reading ‘Eyes to See’, by Joseph Nassise, which was also pretty good, and my reviews of these two books will be up on BCC fairly soon!
As usual this week, the university student budget didn’t stretch to new books (as usual I cried a little inside), so I’ve had to be satisfied with reading for university and BCC. This at the moment is Renaissance drama, with most of my time being filled by our old friend Mr. Shakespeare. I’m sure you can all appreciate that not all of his plays are as interesting as tutors tell you they are…

At the beginning of the week I finished off ‘Sin Undone‘ by Larissa Ione. Really love this series, and this was another fabulous book to add to the collection. I then read ‘Incubus‘ by Carol Goodman, which I enjoyed thoroughly and can’t wait to continue the series… yet another one to add to the growing collection to try and track!
I also completed ‘Hold Me If You Can‘ by Stephanie Rowe. Sad to say I was glad to finish this one. I have finished my reviews for ‘Incubus‘ and ‘Hold Me If You Can‘ and I am now looking forward to getting my hands on ‘Lover Reborn‘ the tenth book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward next week, one of my all time favourite authors. Although, I’ve just read it is at least 700 pages long! Ooo sore eyes at bedtime me thinks!

Hey Gemma
I am really looking forward to Tohrments story, but not nearly as much as Blaine's. That one should make for interesting reading although apparently there is something in Tohr's book that's gonna upset Quinn and Blaine fans….Oooeeerrrr can't wait to get it, but I pity the kids and husband lol.
