LAURA’S THOUGHTS
Ooh aren’t the wings pretty? This is beautiful cover, I love it! The wings, the aura of light around the couple, even the heroine’s super pretty cascading hair. as good as the first in the series without a doubt. There’s nothing I don’t like.
CAROLYN’S THOUGHTS
I must admit, I feel differently about this cover to Laura. I’m a little disappointed with it to be honest. After the Avenger’s Angel cover, I was expecting to be blown away, but sadly I’m not. I love the colour and the wings are gorgeous (I do love men with wings) but the guy’s posture is just awkward. His arm and hand look at odds with the rest of his body. And what’s with the wings through the t-shirt? Did they rip through or does it have pre-designed slits! I really love the chicks long curly hair and she’s very beautiful, so why does it look as though she’s trying to kiss him, but he’s having none of it? This isn’t as gorgeous as the cover for Avenger’s Angel, which is a shame

OMG! What an awful decision for a cover! I’m really fed up with this couple. For some reason their stock photos are very popular in YA – I’ve literally seen dozens of books with them in various positions (Obsidian by Jennifer L.Armintrout as a prime example). This is even more absurd on an adult paranormal romance. I’m sorry but I’m really disappointed since I’m a big fan of the book #1. I will not buy a book with such cover.

I don’t read much YA so I haven’t seen this couple before, but I took a look at the Obsidian series and yes, the couple there do look similar. It’s a shame really as the first cover was so amazing.

Complete agreement with everything you said Carolyn, it just all looks so wrong. And owchy to the pose.

I know, what a shame, hey. I loved the first cover and I will say the wings on this cover are gorgeous but everything else just looks wrong.

I agree with you Carolyn, especially with the fact he is turning away from her. Also he looks as if he is deciding whether to try and cop a feel of her bum.
Not as good as the first one. Shame really. Won’t stop me reading the book though

LOL cop a feel! Yes, it does rather, but then he doesn’t want to kiss her – what a creep! ;D
And I agree, won’t stop me reading it as I loved the first book – let’s hope the inside of this one is better than the cover!

Some time the best books I’ve read have had the most dodgiest covers.

now then… who was it said that you don’t look at the mantle when you are poking the fire??? *coughs* Gemma….. I like to look at front covers, but tbh they don’t encourage nor discourage me from reading a book. Thats not to say I don’t appreciate a nice bod on the front.

I know I say that, but I admit it, I will pick up a book based on the cover, then read the back! So sue me! Lol!

Oh dear, everyone disagrees with me lol! But I think it’s so pretty. Although on second look, his pose is a little odd. But I still think it’s pretty
