CAROLYN’S ROUNDUP
I haven’t managed to read very much this week due to one thing and another. I started the week reading DEAD AS A DOORNAIL by Charlaine Harris [UK|US] for our Sookie Read-a-Long, and I still haven’t finished it. I also began CARESSED BY ICE by Nalini Singh [UK|US] (love this author) while on my mini break in the Cotswolds, but only managed a few chapters! Hopefully, I’ll finish both of these this week.
I didn’t buy any books either – I was a good girl *for a change*
I did, however, order a few from Amazon, so they will probably get to me sometime in the week – I’ll let you know what they are in next weeks Weekly Roundup.

LAURA’S ROUNDUP
I’ve had a great reading week. I started off by finishing FEVER by Dee Shulman [UK|US], which I definitely enjoyed and look forward to seeing where the story goes. Then I started reading UNDER THE NEVER SKY by Veronic Rossi [UK|US] I’ve seen a lot of hype about this book, but often that can lead to disappointment. But what can I say, other than I loved it?! It took a little while to get going, but by the end I was totally consumed and read the book in less than two days!
I’m now half way through DEFINITELY DEAD [UK|US] book number six in Harris’s Sookie Stackhouse series. It’s great to be back in Sookie’s world, although I have found it slightly harder to get into than normal. While I do find Harris’s writing style quirky and fun, she seems to be a little bit over the top on detail. However, now I’m back in it, I’m thoroughly enjoying it and the interesting twist Sookie’s love life seems to have taken.
After last week’s book spending spree, I haven’t bought any books this week. But… I did buy some lovely shiny new stationery and make up, so plenty to keep a girl happy!

REBECCA’S ROUNDUP
Again this week I haven’t done any reading except for various Shakespeare and other 16th C drama in preparation for my uni exam on Wednesday. However, after my exam I will be free to read for fun again, and my ‘to-read’ pile is slowly growing from the books I’ve bought but haven’t had the time to read.
I forgot to mention on last week’s roundup that I ordered THE IRON DUKE by Meljean Brook [UK|US], which I am very excited about starting. As the covers for this series are beautiful, I really don’t want to be let down!

GEMMA’S ROUNDUP
At the beginning of the week I was off sick. So while in my sick bed I managed to finish BORN OF NIGHT by Sherrilyn Kenyon [UK|US]. I had stopped reading Kenyon’s Dark Hunter series after Acheron, so I was hesitant on reading this. Thankfully I ended up really enjoying the book – review coming soon.
Next book I am going to read is PRETTY LITTLE DEAD THINGS by Gary McMahon [UK|US] – this looks interesting.

VICKIE’S ROUNDUP
I haven’t read too much this week, but have managed to read the best part of two books by a couple of my favourite authors. I finished THE CALLING by Kelley Armstrong [UK|US] and have started on THE WARLORD WANTS FOREVER by Kresley Cole [UK|US]. I really enjoyed THE CALLING, although I think the plot could move faster. There is more detail about that in my review. I am about half way through THE WARLORD WANTS FOREVER, and it’s great! I thought I had started at the beginning of the Immortals After Dark series, but it would appear I missed this novella so upon discovering it yesterday, I HAD to have it…NOW…so downloaded it to my Kindle and haven’t managed to put it down yet! If you haven’t tried this series I would really recommend it. I love the Valkries, they are so kick ass.
Myst: “Wroth, darling,” she purred, smiling so sweetly. “I can’t wait for the next time I get to put my mouth on you.” In an instant the smile faded and she snapped her teeth and yanked her head back as if she was chewing something free.” I could quote forever from these books!! I am a happy lil’ bunny, well, at least until I finish this book. Have a great week everyone!

I actually think the US cover of Under The Never Sky is better actually. But I like the colours on the UK one.
