CAROLYN’S THOUGHTS
I think this cover is pretty cool – in fact I love it as much as I did the first one. I love that the covers are consistent, and the heroine’s stance in this one is sexy, hot and badass, especially with the machine gun slung so casually over her shoulder. These covers are like urban fantasy but science fiction, if that makes sense, and they sound like great reads too.
REBECC’S THOUGHTS
I really like this cover, I love the model’s stance and the way she’s holding the machine gun. She looks very tough and capable, and I love the way the light from the background shines across her lower body. The background is quite eye catching, but I love the mixture of colours and it lights the model well, as she isn’t overshadowed. The only thing I don’t like is how much the model’s hair looks like a wig, but this is only a minor point and who knows, it could be part of the plot!

Something about the font for the author’s name makes the books look very sci-fi, but in an update to date, female friendly way.

I agree. And the fact that a female is on the front too makes this instantly connect with women readers.

I like this cover. I would probably pick it up just for that alone. The premise would have me a bit wary as Sci-Fi isn’t my normal genre of choice. Since its a female protagonist I would probably give it a whirl.
What can I day? Show me a pretty cover and you will at least have me taking a look.

I would buy it based on the cover too – but we’re total cover tarts so that’s probably why LOL
