I love this, much more than the cover for the first book. It’s a gorgeous colour and I love the chick’s stance, her outfit, with just a enough belly showing for it to have that little bit of sexiness. But she’s also got a slight glimmer of the ‘badass’ about her too, and with holding the sword I’m assuming she knows how to use it! Really fab.
LAURA’S THOUGHTS
I like this cover. It’s got both an urban fantasy and fantasy feel to it. I love the woman’s stance and the way her sword is glowing, she looks like one tough cookie. The lilac background is pretty, I’m not totally sure what is going on with the little illustrations, I haven’t read the series which might help, but it kind of makes me think of fairies. Also, I want her boots!

Ooh! I like that cover! As you both said, the chick looks kick ass. I love how it appears that it looks like another world is appearing through a portal. Not too sure about the sword as it looks very Star Wars Lightsabrey.
