LORD’S FALL (Elder Races #5)
RELEASE DATE: November 2012
PUBLISHER: Piatkus Books
GENRE: Paranormal Romance
ARTIST: Unknown
In the latest Novel of the Elder Races, two mates find themselves on different paths, torn between their duty to the Wyr and the passion that binds them… Before she met Dragos, half-human half-wyr Pia Giovanni was alone and on the run. Now, she’s mated, pregnant and heading south to repair the Wyr’s frayed relationship with the Elves. Being separated from Dragos is painful, but for the good of the Wyr demesne they need to figure out how to be partners, in more places than just the bedroom.
In New York to preside over the Sentinel Games, Dragos is worried about his mate, but knows that finding two replacement sentinels is essential to show the rest of the Elder Races just how strong and brutal the Wyr demesne can be. But as the games heat up, Pia’s negotiations with the Elves take a turn for the dangerous, straining her bond with Dragos and threatening everything they hold dear… (Goodreads)
CAROLYN’S THOUGHTS
I think this is my favourite of the UK covers for this series. I love that they are definitely a set and the blue is just gorgeous. The title font is really pretty and works so well with the image, and the fact that they’ve also kept the typography consistent throughout the series is great. Although the model doesn’t always match up with the heroine of the story, I do like that they have used the same model and not swapped and changed. Overall a great addition to the series.
LAURA’S THOUGHTS
I think I have to agree with Carolyn that this is the prettiest cover of the series. The blue is beautiful and vivid, the font is just gorgeous and looks great matching the rest of the books in the series. As you know, I do love it when they match! The moon looks beautiful glowing over her shoulder, another aspect that is consistent with the other books. Very pretty!

Ok, this is another book where I like the UK cover more than the US cover. I agree with both Carolyn and Laura. The blue is really striking, yet it still fits in with the series. I’ve yet to read these books though. :S

I agree the US cover is much more bland and looks a bit medieval. I hardly get to enjoy book covers anymore as I usually read everything I can on my Kindle. Its great to see them all here
