LAURA’S ROUNDUP

holdingoutforaheroThis week I have mostly been finishing reading book number 8 in Kristen Ashley’s Rock Chick series Rock Chick Revolution. I had high hopes for Ally’s story and while it was most definitely good, at the same time it wasn’t as good as I hoped it would be. Ren just wasn’t my favourite hero of the series and it also wasn’t as laugh-out-loud funny or emotionally poignant as I have found some of the other books to be. The good news is that Ashley is working on a spin-off so I most definitely looking forward to reading those.

Next, I am going to go back to reading Holding out for a Hero by Amy Andrews. I started reading it just before Christmas and then wanted to read a book I knew would be super awesome for Christmas, so I put it on hold. It wasn’t that it wasn’t good, it’s just that it wasn’t quite Christmas good, so I shall give it another try and let you know what I think. There is nothing better than being wrong about these things! That’s it for me, have a great week.

I really need to get my arse in gear and read more Kristen Ashley – I’m totally jealous you’ve read so many!

Yes you should, I am loving her books so much at the moment. Two of her stand-alones are on offer for 77p on Kindle. Just saying ;-)
