Rachel Caine revealed the cover for the 9th Morganville Vampire novel, Ghost Town, in her newsletter. I love it. I still think I prefer the UK covers by Allison & Busby for the series, but this is still pretty gorgeous Ghost Town Rachel Caine 3 Nov 2010 NAL Summary The fragile peace between humans and vampires in Morganville is in trouble, and when Claire takes drastic action, she’s put under serious pressure to re-establish the barriers that keep the town residents inside, and wipe the memories of those who leave….

Juno Books has revealed the new cover for Sparks by Laura Bickle, the second book in the Anya Kalinczyk novels, due for release Sept 2010. I like it more than the cover for book 1, Embers, as it has a bit more movement which I think makes it more interesting. I can’t find any details as yet, or who the artist might be, but when I do I will post it here. So, what do you think?  Book 2, Sparks Book 1, Embers Embers Laura Bickle Juno Books (Urban Fantasy) 30 March 2010…

This is the gorgeous new cover for Alpha, the sixth book in the Shifters series by Rachel Vincent, which she revealed on her blog only moments ago. I have been dying to post this but knew Rachel wanted to reveal it herself first, so I waited – it was tough I can tell you, especially as I saw it last week on The Pride, her online forum. The cover of Rogue is still my favourite, but I think this is a gorgeous addition to the series, it has a different feel from the other covers I…

This is the fantastic new cover for Green-Eyed Demon by Jaye Wells, the third book in the Sabina Kane series. I love it. I think all the covers to this series are fab. Are you liking it? And in order to do that, she has to broker a deal between the mages and the vampires before all hell breaks loose. But as much as Sabina is focused…

I *love* this cover. It’s another fantastic work of art by one of my favourite artists Jon Sullivan. The book is the second in the Shadows of the Apt series by Adrian Tchaikovsky.  Click Image to Enlarge Dragonfly Falling Adrian Tchaikovsky Pyr  Cover Artist: Jon Sullivan Summary The armies of the Wasp Empire are on the march, and first to feel their might will be the city of Tark, which is even now preparing for siege. I saw the cover for Nicole Peeler’s Tempest Legacy, the third installment in the Jane True series over at Wicked Lil’ Pixie’s place and then at Orbit US where they show all the covers. I thought that was a great idea, so here they are. I think they are just getting better and better, don’t you? I haven’t read this series yet – have you? Would you recommend? Book 3, Tempest Legacy Book 2, Tracking the Tempest Book 1, Tempest Rising Jane True Series Nicole Peeler Orbit Cover Artist: Sharon Tancredi…

Here is the new cover for Linda Wisdom’s forthcoming paranormal romance, The Best Hex Ever. I think all the covers in the Hex series are so adorable and I think this one is really great. I couldn’t find any details about the book, but when I do I will post them here. Don’t you think it’s cute? The Best Hex Ever Linda Wisdom 5th Oct 2010 Sourcebooks

These are the UK covers for the forthcoming Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane to be released from May. I love the US Editions, but I’m loving these too, my only concern is that they do remind me a little bit of actual cigarette smoke, especially Unholy Ghosts and City of Ghosts, but that’s just a small niggle. Basically they are pretty classy covers and quite striking – I will definitely be buying the set when they are released! I think my favourite is Unholy Magic. Do you like them? Which is your…

It was only last week that I posted about the new US Cover for Burned, the 7th book in the House of Night series, but now I can share the UK version with you. Both covers are great, but I think the UK one is more edgy and it’s definitely got a Brit vibe going on – I really like it, how about you?  Burned P. C. Cast/ Kristin Cast 27 April 2010 Atom Summary Things have turned black at the House of Night. Zoey Redbird’s soul has shattered. With everything…

This is the cover for Ghosts of Manhattan by George Mann. I saw it for the first time last year and I absolutely loved it and still do. Unfortunately, the UK Cover from Snowbooks is not so nice. What do you think – you likie? Click Image to Enlarge Ghosts of Manhattan George Mann 27 April 2010 Pyr (Steampunk) Cover Artist: Benjamin Carre Summary 1926. New York. The Roaring Twenties. Jazz. Flappers. Prohibition. Coal-powered cars. A cold war with a British Empire that still covers half of the globe. Yet things have developed differently to established history. America…

I have been in touch with a lovely publicist at Headline and she took time out of her busy day to send me all the available UK covers to the Anita Blake series. I think they are absolutely fab and wanted to share them with you. I must say I do think they are much better than the US versions – don’t you agree? Hopefully I will be able to bring you the new cover for Bullet, the 19th book in the series, very soon. To view larger images of…

Here is the cover for The Technician, the next installment in the Polity series. I love all the covers to Neal Asher’s books and this one is no exception - it’s grotesque, but in a good way I absolutely love this artist, he’s probably one of my favourites. What do you think?  The Technician Neal Asher 6 August 2010 Tor (Science Fiction) Cover Artist: Jon Sullivan Summary The Theocracy has been dead for twenty years, and the Polity rules on Masada. But the Tidy Squad consists of rebels who cannot accept the new order….

Marjorie just revealed the US cover for A Wild Light, the third novel in the Hunter’s Kiss series. I think it’s really lovely. It was only a few of weeks ago that I posted about the UK cover launch for the entire series. Which ones do you like best? I must admit it’s quite difficult to choose, as I think both are pretty great. A Wild Light Marjorie M. Liu August 2010 ACE Books Summary Maxine finds herself covered in blood and crouched beside Jack’s dead body, with no memory of what happened….

I found this AMAZING cover over at One Book Away from Heaven and I think it’s just gorgeous! The US publisher (Bantam Spectra) changed the cover for Waking the Witch, the 11th book in the Otherworld series, due for release this August. And I think it’s a change for the better – what do you think? (previous cover) Waking the Witch Kelley Armstrong August 2010 Bantam Spectra Summary The orphaned daughter of a sorcerer and a half-demon, Savannah is a terrifyingly powerful young witch who has never been able to resist the…

This is the cover for the eighth book in the Kitty Norville series by Carrie Vaughn. I really like all the Kitty covers and this one is no exception.
